                 New beginnings, new hope, new horizon

             

                It is believed that when we start the new year right, it will bring us prosperity and happiness. Traditionally, we prepare different things that is made believe to give us luck for the next year that was made believed by the Chinese citizens. Starting off, by the belief of having a lucky color, astrology or the luckiest animal sign of the year, setting of fireworks, preparing a prosperity bowl for it is believed to give us abundance and prosperity, believing in lucky charms and rituals to bring them good fortune in the coming year.

            Yet with all these believes, the most powerful weapon that we can use to have luck is prayers.

            What is the real essence of New Year? For me the real essence of New Year is to have a bright and a fresh start with everything. Last year might be too harsh and too painful towards a single person yet this day symbolizes that we all have a new chance to be better and begin everything again. Another chance to work hard to achieve things you want to achieve or to just relax and continue things slowly.

We all have our own goal during this 2023, but my main goal now is to have a worthwhile and a happy life even if the world may sometimes be too harsh. I hope I can find a comfort, strength, will and love towards and within myself. I hope this time I can put myself and my peace of mind first.

Make this new year a fresh start for you, and I know someday you will be proud of yourself for overcoming so many years. Fighting!

                              In the midst of uncertainties, we all are here standing brave and strong, ready to face the final stage within our junior high school moment. Struggles are part of our progress. As we open our 3 rd grading chapter, excitement filled our hearts. We are curious yet anxious. We encountered different styles of learnings coming from our different teachers. We saw how compassionate they are with their own different ways.
