COVID 19: carved within our hearts
December 2019 when everything started, with its simple news about this so-called virus that effects the immune system. It was nothing to worry about at first not until it bop, worrying everyone. Modular learning was implemented to continue the learning of each students within their houses… but it way never easy. Personally, I was very excited at first for I will just stay inside the house. Long after, many circumstances came by. We have to really pass each module at the given exact time, wanting to give my best in completing the given tasks, having so many sleepless nights. Some of my friends had developed depression and anxiety towards this form of learning. Very challenging it is for everyone as we don’t know exactly what to do. As time goes by we are lucky that by those small steps, we are slowly going back to the normality life once had.
This pandemic had some good effects too, I practiced working independently and had also practiced my time management skill. It also helped me to be conscious with my health, and had helped the whole family to spend a lot of time together.
Very lucky I am to have those persons as my support system – my family. There are many ups and downs that I have already faced that caused to discouragement yet they are still by my side reminding me that its okay to fail at times and that I can do all the impossible things in life. The pandemic might remind us of all the things we had faced yet I am always thankful that up until now we are all here, fighting. As modular learning days is slowly ending, we still need to strive. We are all here hoping that one day we will fully be back to the normality of life we used to have. Hoping for more colorful days as the sun shines brightly in the sky.
